Judah has entered the delightful "no!" phase of toddlerhood. When he's not feeling it, it's no to everything except those things where it's an adamant "I don't want it!" We've learned to ignore this annoying behavior lest he think he's the boss. That is when we aren't able to tease him back into my sweet snuggly Judah. Most of the time he's delightful although it could be we are just better equiped at raising our second headstrong Leo.

The girls picked out petunias for their window boxes. Judah tried to help with the planting but dropped his shovel 2 stories down and almost hit someone.


We've started just bathing him in dirt. Seems simpler that way. You should have seen all the dirt that came out of his diaper that day.

Sometimes one of your kids will enter a new phase and just start cracking you up, you know? Quickly Judah is leaving any traces of babyhood behind and if he's as funny as he has been lately we are in for a treat. The kid loves to make people laugh.

We moved!

We are so happy in our new place. Even though we loved all our friends and neighbors over on the old block this place makes more sense for us- better layout, more space, 1/2 block from the park and YMCA, an old movie theater, etc. And the little boy downstairs is just one month older than Judah and very sweet.
