Hilina had a big week last week with an ambulatory EEG to measure how many seizures she's having and where they are coming from. She was so brave and carefree about the whole thing, hardly bothered her except for carrying the machine around in her backpack. When it got too heavy I'd have to hold it which means we were inseparable for 3 days. Naps, meals, playground, bedtime, etc. Besides marking all her seizures (don't know the exact number yet but it was a lot) I had the added pleasure of keeping her baby brother from trying to pull the wires out. We don't know anything yet but it's over and hopefully they got all the information they needed. She is such a trooper and has more heart than anyone I've ever met...
NiNi.. you are so beautiful in your New Hat... not to mention the backpack.. TOO CUTE... I pray that all will go well.. you are so sweet. Keep us posted Anna and Ben... we love you!!!
My son had to do the same thing however we had to stay in the hospital...it took 2 weeks. This past August he had the surgery and so far NO seizures...good luck to your family :)
we live in brooklyn and are proud parents of two little pancakes from ethiopia, one cubscout, and are expecting a very quiet cricket to join our family in the fall. we like pizza and snow days. we do not like pushy people on the subway or ironing.

Wow, 3 is a lot of days in a cap. I hope this yields the answers you seek.
Yes, a brave sweet girl who has an AMAZINGLY strong mom.
I meant that to sound sympathetic, but am afraid it sounded accusatory. Ack--tone, so hard to produce in print.
I also meant to mention that your gal is growing up--she looks so big (and gorgeous) in those shots!
